In HTML & CSS, you can create an animated button by writing code for its styling and adding a keyframe animation. The animation for the button can be created by using the animation property followed by @keyframes command.

Animating on 2s means that for each second of animation, there are 12 new drawings or “frames”. This is the most common type of animation. This timing of animation is best for doing simple everyday motions. This should be your default way of animating until you become more familiar with timing in animation.

Choose Insert > New Symbol, or press Control+F8 (Windows) or Command+F8 (Mac OS). Note: In Flash 3 and earlier, deselect everything on the Stage and choose Insert > Create Symbol. In the Symbol Properties dialog box, enter a name for the new button symbol and choose Button as the Behavior option. Click OK.
