For the best results, wash your car in the summer during moderate temperatures in the mid-morning, evening, or on a cloudy day when there is little direct sunlight and low winds.

If you can, visit the wash during less busy hours to take advantage of short lines. Early morning or the evening before we close are some of the best opportunities. Don't worry if you want to vacuum out your car while you're here—longer daylight hours and our vacuum bay lights should give you plenty of visibility.

This will usually be in the morning or the evening. Direct sunlight, especially hot, intense sunlight, will evaporate the water too quickly, leaving water spots due to minerals in the water that are left behind after the water evaporates. If you go through a drive-through car wash you can do that any time of day.

In general, it's a good idea to wash your car every other week or so. Regularly washing your car removes everyday contaminants like tar, road debris, and bird droppings that can ruin your car's paint job over time.
