Instruments are the first items to go on any gig equipment checklist. The most prominent ones you'll see are guitars, bass guitars, drum kits, and keyboards. The two main types of guitars are acoustic and electric. Each has its time and place, and they also sound great side by side for soft or mellow tunes.

The members of the band. Traditionally, you'll need a drummer, a guitarist, a bassist, and a singer. even don't use guitars anymore. The only two instruments you should definitely consider having are a drumset (acoustic or electronic) and something to hold down the low end.

Rock bands may include a variety of instruments, but the most common configuration is a 4-part band consisting of lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, and drums. The lead vocalist may just sing, or play an instrument as well. The microphones and amps help turn up the volume to make the band loud.

Microphone: Consider a dynamic microphone with good feedback rejection for louder environments. Monitor Speakers: Having a monitor speaker allows you to hear your voice on stage clearly. Vocal Effects: Some singers use effects pedals to add reverb or echo to their vocals.
