Site Plan/Plot Plan. An architectural drawing viewed from straight above that shows the shape, size, location, and orientation of each building on the site. It often includes landscaping symbols and other notes about roads, sidewalks, and lines of electricity, gas, and sewer.

Sites plan typically show buildings, roads, sidewalks and paths/trails, parking, drainage facilities, sanitary sewer lines, water lines, lighting, and landscaping and garden elements.

A site plan, also known as a plot plan, is a diagram that shows proposed improvements to a property. Typically, it includes both what already exists on a specific property and what you're proposing to build on that same property.

A Plan of Development (POD) and a Site Plan are detailed engineering drawings of a property, which depict proposed building layout, water and sewer lines, roads, drainage, landscaping, lighting, and other necessary improvements to develop a property for an intended use.
