Michael Terry Holcomb (born February 2, 1954) is a Southern Gospel bass singer, best known for his forty plus years of work with The Inspirations.

The quartet itself formed two years before the first gathering, in 1964, when Swain County High School chemistry teacher Martin Cook and three of his students began to meet weekly to sing gospel songs. Today, The Inspirations are considered one of the most important groups ever to sing and record Southern gospel music.

In early 2017, original pianist, manager, emcee, and co-owner Martin Cook retired from the Inspirations. Cook's stint with the group spanned some 53 years. Bass singer Joe Brown departed at the same time as Cook. Original Inspirations tenor Archie Watkins became the new owner and manager of the group.
