For a misdemeanor offense, a bail bond fee in the amount of 3.5 percent of the total face value of the bail bond or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater, but not to exceed four hundred fifty dollars ($450).

If the defendant appears in court and settles the case the surety is relieved from the bond. If a cash bond was posted by the defendant, it can be used to cover any fines, costs, and restitution assessed, and the balance, if any, will be refunded to the defendant.

No bond or a no bond hold means that the person cannot currently bond out of jail. However this does not mean forever. Certain crimes such as a non-bondable first-degree felony or a punishable by life or a violation of probation may cause the no bond hold.
