The Trainer Lodge is a special facility where you interact with Trainers. This includes giving presents and talking to them in order to boost your friendship level with them, which unlocks special stories and rewards.

Topics are associated with one of seven categories: Pokémon, Items, Friends, Hobbies, Fashion, Places, and Other. The Trainer is assigned a hot topic category from one of these categories for each interaction.

Leveling up your friendship with a trainer will yield fantastic rewards like five-star powerups, candy coins, and eventually the grand prize: a new Sync Pair with your lodge partner once you reach level 100 friendship.

Pokémon Trainer is the term commonly used for a person who catches, occasionally names, and trains several different kinds and types of Pokémon. The starter Pokémon that Pokémon Trainers receive depends on what town they live in and which region they live in.
