Indigo dye is an organic compound with a distinctive blue color. Indigo is a natural dye extracted from the leaves of some plants of the Indigofera genus, in particular Indigofera tinctoria.

With the passage of time, the rubbing of the cloth causes the indigo color to fade off and the appearance of white lines. Indigo fabrics have attracted people with their rich and timeless attractiveness, but there is a recurring concern: indigo fabrics bleed or fade dramatically.

Do not use bleach or any kind of detergent which contains a bleach additive. Bleach will cause splotching of the indigo dye and damage the integrity of the garment material. Hand wash with cold water only, and hang dry after stretch. NO machine wash and tumble dry.
