Beef Plate is also known as “short plate,” this is from the front belly of the cow, just below the rib cut. The short plate produces types of steak such as the skirt steak and hanger steak, as well as short ribs.

Just a little context in case you aren't familiar with this cut. It isn't the same as the brisket, it's actually the cut of meet right behind the brisket. It goes by a lot of names: beef belly, beef navel, navel brisket, or beef plate.
