Aerus is the successor to Electrolux USA, the iconic manufacturer of vacuum cleaners. However, the Electrolux name is now used in the U.S. by the Electrolux Group of Sweden, which until 2016 also manufactured Eureka vacuum cleaners.

Electrolux vacuum cleaners haven't disappeared. However, some of them got a new badge. After the rebranding, Aerus has continued to make vacuum cleaners under the iconic “Lux” brand, while branching out into air purifiers and other health-focused home appliances.

I made this video because people sometimes confuse Lux and Electrolux. Electrolux used to be the only Electrolux, but the company separated to Lux and Electrolux and became separate brands.
