Patients must be entered into the Medical Marijuana Use Registry by a qualified physician to receive a card. Applications may be submitted online through the Medical Marijuana Use Registry or mailed to the Office of Medical Marijuana Use. All applications must include a registration fee of $75.

In 1-2 weeks an email from the FL DOH will arrive providing a temporary registration verification email. Access to a dispensary is permitted with this document. The card should arrive in the mail 1-2 weeks later. You are required to renew your medical cannabis license once per year.

A Qualified Patient Must: Be a permanent or seasonal Florida resident. Be diagnosed with a qualifying medical condition by a qualified physician. Be entered into the Medical Marijuana Use Registry. Obtain a Medical Marijuana Use Registry Identification Card.

You can actually get approved the same day at your appointment at Canna Doctors of America, and receive a temporary card via email to use in place of the physical card. This email with photo ID will grant you access to medical cannabis in any Florida marijuana dispensary.
