A third generation member of the Gracie family, he is the grandson of Gracie jiu-jitsu co-founder Carlos Gracie, grandnephew of Helio Gracie, nephew of Carlos Gracie Jr. and the son of Robson Gracie.

He had formal instruction from many of the Gracie patriarchs, but two of his biggest influences were the legendary Rolls Gracie and Carlos Gracie Jr. (the man who later awarded him his black belt).

World-Class Instruction Renzo Gracie himself is an accomplished teacher who has trained many top-level BJJ competitors. The instructors at Renzo Gracie schools are carefully selected and undergo rigorous training to ensure they are able to provide the highest quality instruction to students of all levels.

Neiman Gracie is part of the illustrious Gracie family, known for its Brazilian jiu-jitsu. UFC Hall-of-Famer Royce Gracie and his cousin Renzo Gracie are the uncles of Neiman.
