Guiding your model is as important as it is to do proper lighting, or proper camera settings. I personally believe guiding and making your model comfortable , is the key factor to get the exact output or poses from the models. One of the more challenging aspects when starting out can definitely be getting comfortable working with the model(s) on a shoot, and how to ensure everyone comes out happy and satisfied. This article has been written from the perspective that the majority of models I work with are female. Everything in here applies to men and women, but it has been written from the mindset of working with female models.
