Sometimes an inexpensive component can fail leading to other components to stop working. This solid state 1985 Randall had 2 cracked resistors causing excessive heat and an eventual failure. The dual OP-Amp that was fed threw these resistors also failed causing one of the two amplifier channels to not pass any signal. $5 in parts later and the amp is as good as new.
