Depends on how hot the oven is, how much you want it to rise, the recipe used, the type of yeast, and much more. I like to do a long first proof/fermentation with my sourdough starters (I have three) because it gives me better texture and flavor. Long as in a minimum of overnight and up to 24 hours long.
