The University of Suffolk ranked 53rd out of 128 universities with highlights including a 4th place position for first generation students, 14th for student/ staff ratio and 24th for high skilled jobs. Earlier this year, Suffolk climbed 20 places in the Complete University Guide rankings.

Suffolk is a school that draws primarily from around Boston. It has a decent reputation. It's most famous for its law school which, for a long time, was the place you wanted to attend if you wanted to be Governor of Massachusetts someday.

Suffolk admissions is somewhat selective with an acceptance rate of 87%. Students that get into Suffolk have an average SAT score between 1080-1300 or an average ACT score of 24-30. The regular admissions application deadline for Suffolk is February 15.
