Alexander, Prinz von Fürstenberg (born Alexandre Egon Prinz von Fürstenberg; January 25, 1970) is an American businessman, socialite, and the son of fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg (née Halfin) and Prince Egon von Fürstenberg.

She moved into an estate in Connecticut she named Cloudwalk, and has lived there ever since. In 1974, she introduced the knitted jersey "wrap dress", which became an iconic piece in women's fashion; it is included in the collection of the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

As of January 2022, DVF apparel and accessories are manufactured in China. When Diane Von Furstenberg first began producing her famous silk wrap dress in 1972, Italian factories produced most pieces.

Egon von Fürstenberg died at Spallanzani Hospital in Rome on 11 June 2004. The New York Post reported Fürstenberg's widow stating that he died of liver cancer caused by a hepatitis C infection that he acquired in the 1970s.
